The Andhra Pradesh government released the results of AP Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET)-2025 on Friday. A statement released by the Department of School Education said that out of 2,48,427 candidates who appeared for the examinations, 97,560 (39.27 %) qualified. Similarly, out of 31,886 in-service teachers who appeared for the test, 15,239 (47.82%) qualified. The qualified percentage of the candidates had gone down compared to the results achieved in the past. In the TET conducted in July-2024, 1,87,256 (50.79 %) candidates, out of the total 3,68,661 candidates who appeared, qualified. In the TET held in February 2024, out of 2,35,907 candidates who appeared, 1,37,903 (58.4%) qualified. In the TET conducted in August 2022, out of the 4,07329 candidates who appeared, 2,36,535 (58.07%) qualified and in TET held in May 2018, 2,13,042 of the total 3,70,636 candidates who appeared passed. Minister for Human Resources Development (HRD) Nara Lokesh, in a message on X, congratulated the successful candidates. “Proud to announce that the Government of Andhra Pradesh has successfully conducted the AP TET for October 2025,” he said, informing that the results were available at ‘tet2dsc.apcfss.in’. The results were also available on WhatsApp number 9552300009, he added.
