MOORTHY In Madurai district, of the 34,504 students who applied for the class 12 public examinations for language subjects, including Tamil, 33,958 appeared. Among the remaining, three were granted exemptions, while 543 students were absent. The class 12 government public examinations are being held from March 2 to March 26. In Madurai district, 109 examination centres and one centre at the Central Prison were arranged for students from 323 government, government-aided, and private schools. On the first day, examinations were conducted for language subjects, including Tamil, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, and Arabic.
