26 RPF personnel honoured for RD, Kumbh duties

A total of 26 Railway Protection Force (RPF) officers and staff were presented with the DG’s Insignia and Commendation Certificates in recognition of their exemplary performance during the Republic Day parade 2024 (10 personnel) and Republic Day parade 2025 (13 personnel). Two officials were honoured for their outstanding service during the Maha Kumbh Mela 2025, while Senior Divisional Security Commissioner Debashmita C. Banerjee was felicitated for winning the prestigious Prime Minister’s Silver Cup Case Study, at a ceremony held here on Friday.

Principal Chief Security Commissioner‑cum‑IG Aroma Singh Thakur also presented the DG’s Commendation Certificates to six South Central Railway RPF officials for their exceptional efforts and significant contribution to the successful conduct of the recently held 26th All India Police Band Competition, hosted under the aegis of South Central Railway. Ms. Thakur herself had received the DG’s Commendation Certificate for overseeing the conduct of the event, said a press release.
