The State government on Wednesday announced the installation of QpiAI Indus, a 25-qubit quantum computing system, at the Quantum Computing Center of Excellence (QCCE) at the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Dharwad and Raichur. QpiAI-Indus is a 25-qubit, superconducting quantum computer developed by Bengaluru-based startup QpiAI in April 2025 as part of India’s National Quantum Mission.
