A truck carrying some 40 agricultural labourers overturned near Nakkaladoddi village in Apsari mandal of Kurnool district on Friday (February 27) morning, leaving 25 workers injured. According to police, the vehicle was en route to a cornfield when the driver lost control while negotiating a curve. The truck veered off the road and overturned, causing injuries to several occupants. Receiving information from residents, the Apsari police rushed to the spot and initiated a rescue operation. The injured were shifted to the Government Hospital in Adoni for treatment. Of them, four workers with serious injuries were later referred to the Government Medical College Hospital in Kurnool. Police registered a case and took up further investigation.
