22nd State-level Comedy Conference in Hubballi from Saturday

The 22nd State-level Comedy Conference is being organised by the Hubballi-Dharwad Hasya Parivargala Okkuta at Hebsur Bhavan, Gokul Road, Hubballi, on Saturday and Sunday.

Addressing presspersons in Hubballi on Tuesday, vice-president of the okkuta (an association of laughter clubs) D.R. Hiregoudar said that 300 representatives of various laughter clubs from Bengaluru, Shivamogga, Bhadravati, Davangere, Bidar, Basavana Bagewadi, Dharwad and Hubballi will participate in it.

MLA Mahesh Tenginakai will inaugurate the conference on Saturday at 3 p.m. and president of the okkuta Basavaraj Hebsur will preside over it.

A procession will be taken out on Sunday in which members of laughter clubs will participate.

The conference will feature various cultural entertainment programmes, comedy programmes by famous artists and representatives of laughter clubs, he said.

Mr. Basavaraj Hebsur and other office-bearers were present.
