Two persons were arrested for allegedly killing a stray dog using an air gun at Puthencruz on Sunday (March 1). Peter and Saji K.I., both residents of Puthencruz, were booked under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for causing mischief by killing an animal, based on a complaint filed by a 32-year-old resident. The incident reportedly occurred after the stray dog entered Peter’s dairy farm and attacked the cattle.
