The department has initiated action to improve the pass percentage. It has implemented 20 programmes across the district and organised additional and special classes, overnight classes, preliminary examination, quiz competitions and rangoli and mehndi drawing for mathematics subject and conducted door-to-door visits to encourage students to face the examination fearlessly. In addition to that, the Zilla Panchayat also opened the doors of Arivu Kendras, libraries in rural areas under gram panchayats, round the clock for students to have a place to study without any interruption. “We have initiated whatever measures are available to get good results. Deputy Commissioner Harshal Bhoyar and Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Lavish Ordia conducted a series of meetings and guided us on improving results,” Mr. Mudhol added.
