Police arrested a suspect and launched a hunt to nab another who allegedly sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl in a village near Maduranthakam in Chengalpattu district. The victim has been admitted at a district government hospital and necessary medical treatment, and psychological counselling has been provided to her. Police said a 17-year-old boy from Tambaram took two girls, aged 16 and 14, on a bike and rode to his native village on Sunday night. Near Devathur village, two unidentified men were drinking on the road where the trio were moving around midnight.
