12-year-old brain dead boy saves five through organ donation in Erode

A 12-year-old boy gave a lease of life to five persons after his parents consented to donate his organs following his declaration as brain dead here on Thursday (March 5, 2026).

A release from Senthil Multi Speciality Hospital said that Mouleesh, son of Prabhu of Karungalpalayam, had been suffering from seizures and had been undergoing treatment at various hospitals. He was later admitted to the hospital for further treatment. When the boy was brought to the hospital, he was unconscious and his Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) was recorded as 3/15.
