Olive Ridley turtle hatchlings being released into the sea at Kodiakkarai on Sunday. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement The Forest department officials released 104 Olive Ridley sea turtle hatchlings that emerged from an artificial hatchery into the sea at Kodiakkarai near Vedaranyam in Nagapattinam district on Sunday to mark the World Seagress Day. Officials said that 4,235 hatchlings have been released so far this season from the centre. Later, a programme was organised at the Government Higher Secondary School in Kodiakkarai.
