The Kerala Fibre Optic Network (KFON), the State government’s broadband Internet service, has reached a milestone of 10,000 connections in the capital city. To date, 6,094 household connections have been completed. In addition, KFON services have been extended to 867 families living below the poverty line (BPL) and 2,769 government institutions. To apply for a new household connection, users can register via the ‘Ente KFON’ mobile application or the KFON website. Connections can also be registered through the toll-free number 1800 570 4466.
