Nanydal MP Byreddy Shabari on Wednesday said that ₹50 lakh has been sanctioned from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund for the treatment of a seven-year-old Nandyal girl suffering from a rare medical condition. Speaking to the media, the MP said that the parents of the girl, Punarvika, had approached her during a public grievance meeting held at her office, seeking assistance for costly medical treatment. After listening to their appeal, the MP assured them all possible support and immediately took up the matter with the Centre. “As a result of sustained efforts, financial assistance has been approved, providing significant relief to the family,” she said, thanking Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda for facilitating the sanction.
