A shop at Kandarkulamanickam near Attaiyampatti was allegedly burgled on Monday (March 6) and a sum of ₹1.25 lakh stolen. According to police, Lalith Kumar (24), a native of Dharmapuri district, runs a chips shop at Kandarkulamanickam. On opening the shop on Monday, he found ₹1.25 lakh missing. When he checked the CCTV camera footage, he found two masked persons stealing the cash from the shop. The Attaiyampatti police registered a case. An investigation is on.
